Sampo Accelerator provides early-stage startups from Finland, the Baltics, CEE, and Balkan region with two short-duration programmes to help them build a well-functioning business, rather than merely close an investment round.
When selecting participants we focus on the team, not on the business. We are a non-profit, equity-free organisation supported by alumni. Startups in the regions we focus on, often face similar problems: having a great product, but not knowing how to make a business out of it, get customers, and grow. We are here to help you!

WHO WE BACK
Most programmes are built as a filter for their region's investors. We are not. If you are one of these three, you are exactly who the Forge was built for.

Most of our companies come from outside Finland. You do not need a Finnish company, a Finnish co-founder, or Finnish. Everything runs in English.

Most accelerators filter you out at the form for having no co-founder. We select on the person, so a strong solo founder gets a real read.

We take no equity and charge no fees, so there is nothing pushing you onto the venture track. If customers can fund you, we will help you get there faster.
